Walking out with Andy

Image
A friend, Andy, has over the years walked with me through bitter cold, dark nights. We chat amiably as we wander and he's become one of my Safe People. He's also helpful with advice and his own photography is moody and gentle. This is probably the second time ever that I've asked him to pose and I thank him for being so generous.

In His Own Words Andy I travel on buses and trains. I walk a lot as well. Shipley and Saltaire feel OK at night and Leeds is OK too. Bradford doesn't feel right.

Second foray alone

A second wander in pleasantly warm weather and I was very conscious of hanging around outside people's homes, setting off their security lights. It is, however, one of those neighbourhoods where wheelie bins, cars and skips are parked on the kerb so there were plenty of hiding places. I enjoyed these roadworks. First steps out

This evening I set out for the first time in the dark and with a camera. I was nervous in case I was spotted and someone challenged me. It could have been unpleasant but I leaned on a bus stop as a disguise for my actions. The only way to start, is to start. GR iiix hdf   f/7.1   1/13s   ISO-1000
