A friend, Andy, has over the years walked with me through bitter cold, dark nights. We chat amiably as we wander and he's become one of my Safe People. He's also helpful with advice and his own photography is moody and gentle. This is probably the second time ever that I've asked him to pose and I thank him for being so generous.
A second wander in pleasantly warm weather and I was very conscious of hanging around outside people's homes, setting off their security lights. It is, however, one of those neighbourhoods where wheelie bins, cars and skips are parked on the kerb so there were plenty of hiding places. I enjoyed these roadworks. Ricoh GR iiix f/2.8 1/8s ISO 500
